Even up to last year when they had nothing but female singers do his parts in the song session after they were inducted, no one is Kurt, no sense of trying to pretend. When Kurt Cobain died, Nirvana as a live band ended, both Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic knew that, they knew with no Kurt, there was no Nirvana. The Foo Fighters are the Foo Fighter's, they are not Nirvana. That's why I'm here, to share that positivity with others that share the same feeling, it feels good.
They put on extremely awesome concerts, and play to their fans, yet won't put up with the bastards that show up to cause mayhem at their shows, Dave has personally called out individuals he's seen causing problems for those around them enjoying the show. They have put out consistently awesome music for two decades, loved by the last couple generations as their sales and popularity attest. They get it, they know who they are, and they know who their fans are. They are the band I play on youtube when I need a good laugh after a long day. Their my go to band when I want to rock in my car or on my headphones. I love the fun and hilarious videos they put out, I love the buildup of their songs, the arrangements, the vocals. I love the Foo Fighters, I love Dave Grohl.
